@Graphic arts technology has made a remarkable progress recently owing to introduction of new systems by means of using electronics technology. @In the field of graphic arts, computed information processing of images are getting to be in common use, and nature of the industry itself is rapidly changing into one of the information industries. @Furthermore, concept of graphic arts has been changed by use of new functional materials and debut of non-impact printing, and its industry is attaining new era. @In view of this situation, educational organization which is supposed to educate and study new technology on graphic arts, must overview its principle again. @International congress on graphic arts education had been held in Japan for the first time in 1982. @For the development of graphic arts education, it is important for educators of graphic arts and printing to realize the present situation, to farseeing the future and to make an advanced studies. @This will be important key for the progress of graphic arts industry. |
